System1 Group PLC - London-based online market research company - Says Non-Executive Director Robert Brand will not be seeking re-election as senior independent director at the annual general meeting to be held later this year. Non-Executive Director Sophie Tomkins will replace him once he steps down.
Adds Rupert Howell has been appointed as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Notes Howell is chair of music streaming service Roxi, green energy and sustainable living app start-up Pinwheel, and is chair of the advisory board of Empresa Cura Medicinal LDA, an upcoming producer of premium medical cannabis.
"I should like to thank Robert for his outstanding contribution to System1 over a period of considerable change to our company. His strong support and wise counsel as our senior independent director will be greatly missed. In succeeding him later this year, I know that Sophie Tomkins will make an admirable senior independent director and I look forward to working closely with her. I should also like to welcome Rupert Howell to the board. Following an illustrious career in the advertising industry, I am confident his knowledge and insight will contribute significantly to our future development," says Chair Graham Blashill.
