Sound Energy PLC - Morocco-focused upstream gas company - Raises additional proceeds of GBP725,000 from the broker option to its recent equity raise, issuing another 34.1 million shares at 2.125 pence per share. The broker option was granted to Turner Pope Investment Ltd in respect of the GBP2.8 million share placing announced in July. It allows retail investors to take part. Sound Energy originally had hoped to raise GBP1.8 million from the broker option. Sound Energy Chair Graham Lyon subscribed 941,176 broker option shares, while directors Richard Liddell and David Blewden subscribed 941,176 and 1.2 million shares, respectively.
