IN BRIEF: Sirius Real Estate issues EUR300 million bond due 2028

18th Nov 2021 13:58

Sirius Real Estate Ltd - operator of business parks, offices and industrial complexes in Germany - Raises EUR300 million through the second issue of a senior unsecured corporate bond.

The bond mature at the end of 2028 and carries a coupon of 1.75%. Proceeds from the bond issue will go towards funding the company's recent expansion into the UK following its BizSpace acquisition, as well as replenishing cash resources in case of future acquisitions.

Deutsche Bank, HSBC and Morgan Stanley act as bookrunners for the bond issue.

"After the success of our inaugural EUR400 million corporate bond in June, it is very pleasing to issue a further EUR300 million of notes, locking in continued low rates, to help fund our recent acquisition of BizSpace, particularly given the recent volatility in the debt markets," says Chief Financial Officer Alistair Marks.

Current stock price: 143.00 pence in London, ZAR30.05 in Johannesburg

Year-to-date change: up 53% in London, up 56% in Johannesburg
