SigmaRoc PLC - London-based construction materials group - Launches cement-free low-carbon concrete building block under Greenbloc brand. Notes Greenbloc provides on average a 77% net reduction in embodied CO2 per concrete block, resulting in an average reduction of 1.1 kilograms of eCO2 per concrete block and an average reduction of 2.7 tonnes of eCO2 per average semi-detached house. Highlights the average reductions equal the amount of CO2 emitted by an average household's electricity consumption for four years.
