IN BRIEF: Serco says former Swissport CEO quits non-exec director role

Serco Group PLC - Hampshire, England-based outsourcing services to governments - Says non-executive director Eric Born plans to stand down at the end of 2021. Born has experience in the aviation services, logistics and retail sectors, the company says. Previously, Born served as chief executive of cargo and aircraft handler Swissport International Ltd and logistics company Wincanton PLC. From 2010 to 2014, he was a non-executive director of air services firm John Menzies PLC.

Non-Executive Chair John Rishton says: "I would like to thank [Born] personally for his support and, on behalf of the board, for the contribution he has made to the company since joining in January 2019, particularly over the last 18 months, a period during which, in common with all other sectors of society, the company has faced additional challenges."

Current stock price: 137.46 pence, down 1.2% on Friday

Year-to-date change: up 15%
