Seed Innovations Ltd - Guernsey-based wellness and life sciences firm - Notes announcement on Monday by portfolio company Yooma Wellness Inc, in which it holds 4.5% stake, that Yooma has completed the acquisition of Vertex Co Ltd, a Tokyo-based wellness business. The transaction is valued at USD12.0 million and was completed after the market close on Friday last week. In line with Yooma's strategic plan, Yooma says, the acquisition strengthens its current operating subsidiaries portfolio, enhances its range of product lines, expands both its distribution network and customer base, and provides access to the Japanese and wider Asian markets.
