Seed Innovations Ltd - Guernsey-based investor in health, wellness and medical cannabis investor - Sees net realised gains of GBP443,000 in the financial year that ended March 31, up sharply from GBP165,000 the year prior. Net assets rose to GBP24.9 million in the most recent financial year, up 75% from GBP14.2 million, resulting in net assets per share of 11.72 pence, up 33% from 8.82p the previous year. Earnings per share swing to 3.74p from a 3.09p loss in financial 2020. Pays no dividend, unchanged from the year before.
Rebrands as Seed Innovations to signal focus on medical cannabis, health and wellness companies. Formerly known as FastForward Innovations Ltd.
Completes several investments in new area of focus after the year end, including further backing for marketer of cannabinoid and hemp products, Yooma Wellness Inc, in which it now holds a 13% stake. Plus, investments of GBP2.6 million in German-based medical cannabis company EUROX Group; GBP1.5 million in medical cannabis company Little Green Pharma Ltd; and GBP600,000 in Jersey-based cannabis farmer Northern Leaf Ltd.
