Sanne Group PLC - London-based fund and corporate services - Hires Sophie O'Connor as independent non-executive director, effective immediately. O'Connor is chair of Scottish Widows Unit Trust Managers and HBOS Investment Fund Managers. She also is chair of the audit committee of the Lloyds Bank Group Insurance business, which includes Scottish Widows and Lloyds Banking Group PLC's General Insurance business. O'Connor is senior independent director of Bupa Insurance Ltd. She will replace Andy Pomfret as chair of the audit committee of the Sanne board when he retires at the next annual general meeting.
