Rockfire Resources PLC - London-based gold and base metal exploration company - Confirms that soil sampling at its Plateau gold deposit in Queensland, Australia returned strong, elevated gold results. Finds up to 0.67 grammes per tonne of gold and 2.3 grammes per tonne of silver. Says gold results are strongest at the edges of the intruded breccia pipe, where the main gold resource at Plateau is located.
"Rockfire has previously reported that the northern side of the breccia may present a target based on high-grade gold-in-rock samples. These soil sampling results are more coherent than expected and confirm the outline and extent of near-surface gold on the north-eastern edge of the breccia," Chief Executive David Price says.
