Red Rock Resources PLC - mining company - Completes 115 line KM of induced polarisation survey in the Masurura area at the Eastern licence of the Mikei gold project in Kenya, leading to the recording of four important anomalous areas.
Continuing work will be focussed on locating drill targets and locations for the drill programme in 2022.
"In the Western license, drilling continues within the Resource area, having been interrupted by an equipment breakdown, and an additional compressor is being brought in to improve penetration and recoveries in parts of the area where the presence of graphitic shales around the level of the water table has been affecting drill performance," says Chair Andrew Bell.
Also on Thursday, announces the discovery of workings and well-developed adits and shafts at O'Laughlins, marking the discovery of historic mine workings at Victoria Goldfield in Australia.
In addition, has started underground work at the Enfield and Glasgow reefs - which saw geological similarities to the prolific Ballarat mine - in order to confirm the lode continuity and grade. Diamond drilling has been scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021.
