Red Rock Resources PLC - gold explorer in Kenya and Australia, copper-cobalt in DRC - Collects 70.7 line kilometres of data in December by ground survey conducted on Luanshimba Licence in the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of ground geophysics programme.
Three magnetic anomalous areas were observed in the northwest, in the east and a third magentic high in the southwest. The southwest anomaly is considered the highest priority for a follow up ground geophysics programme, as it coincides with zones of elevated soil geochemical copper and cobalt.
"The pattern of good confirmatory results from this tenement continues, and our advisors are optimistic about the prospectivity. The geological setting of the southwest anomaly conforms to the structural pattern in which significant deposits have historically been found and the strongly anomalous geochemical results show the presence of copper and cobalt in the area," said Chair Andrew Bell.
