Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC - London-based, blockchain sector-focused investor - Raises GBP2.0 million before expenses through the placing of 173.9 million new shares at 1.15 pence each. Stock was trading at 1.59p per share at the close on Wednesday. Quantum Blockchain will use the proceeds to fund its cryptocurrency research & development programmes, recruit more staff to R&D, repay legal costs associated with its legacy assets and support its existing investment portfolio.
Current stock price: 1.20p, down 24% on Thursday afternoon in London
