IN BRIEF: Premier African Minerals to start work on Zulu deposit study

Premier African Minerals Ltd - southern Africa-focused miner - Appoints Bara Consulting as principal engineers for the definitive feasibility study of Zulu lithium and tantalum deposits in Zimbabwe.

Has also appointed Geodrilling Private Ltd as drilling contractor for drilling operations in connection to study. Picks Hains Engineering Co Ltd as resource and technical consultant.

"The projected timeline to complete the DFS at Zulu has been ratified by Bara and their appointment is immediate. Completion in this timeline will be subject to certain laboratories to be appointed to complete additional test work and assays within the allotted time frames," said Chief Executive George Roach.

"The appointment of Geodrill is effective immediately and mobilisation is commencing. Premier has sufficient funds to pay the mobilisation charges from existing resources and the full drilling camp is now expected to be completed and operational by the end of April 2021," Roach added.

Current stock price: 0.19 pence, down 15% on Wednesday

Year-to-date change: up sharply from 0.05p
