IN BRIEF: Power Metal Resources subsidiary completes surveys in Nevada

26th Aug 2022 14:37

Power Metal Resources Ltd - metals exploration company focused on North America, Africa and Australia - Announces completion of high-resolution soil geochemical survey over Garfield project in Nevada via its 83% owned subsidiary Golden Metal Resources Ltd. Says 453 soil samples were collected and delivered to an ALS Ltd assay laboratory in Reno, Nevada. Targets drilling for copper-gold-silver mineralisation once results arrive. Further, Golden Metal completes 3D induced polarisation geophysics survey over the Pilot Mountain project in Nevada. Once results are available, aims to drill for tungsten, copper, silver and zinc resources.

London-based Power Metal notes both programmes were completed on time and on target.

"Of particular importance given the demand for homeland security of critical minerals at this time, is effective marketing and communications in-country with parties interested and able to engage with the project, something which is very much at the forefront of our thinking as we move forward," says Power Metal Resources Chief Executive Officer Paul Johnson.
