Power Metal Resources PLC - metals exploration and development company - Has started drilling second hole of planned 2,505 metre four-hole programme on Molopo Farms complex project in Botswana, with planned down-hole target depth of 500 metres to the upper side on constructive body.
At Kisinka copper-cobalt project in the Congo, assay results have confirmed copper values from soils up to 490 parts per million in the south-eastern anomalous zone and 276ppm in the mid-north anomalous zone. There is also significant cobalt anomalism revealed from the results, Power Metal says. Next step will be to conduct a ground magnetic and electromagnetic surveys to generate drill targets.
Power Metal also has completed a reconnaissance exploration programme for the Alamo gold project in the US state of Arizona, leading to an additional nine claim blocks staked to enlarge the project by 24% to a total of 946 acres. Follow-on exploration work will continue with detail geological mapping along with trenching, pitting and mini-bulk sampling to ascertain the abundance of native gold nuggets.
