IN BRIEF: Polarean installs system in children's hospital in Vancouver

Polarean Imaging PLC - North Carolina-based MRI equipment and medical-imaging technology company - Installs its 9820 Xenon Polariser system at British Columbia Children's Hospital, Vancouver, a paediatric research and teaching hospital, to support research into pulmonary disease. System order was announced in May.

Separately, shares that chief executive Richard Hullihen buys 153,060 shares at 47 pence each, totalling GBP71,938 and representing 1.5% of issued share capital. Non-executive directors Cyrille Petit and Jonathan Allis buy 150,000 at 53 pence each, totalling GBP79,500 each. Petit now holds 0.3% of Polarean issued share capital, Allis holds 1.3%.

Current stock price: 66.25 pence, up 12% on Monday

Year-to-date change: down 2.4%
