Plant Health Care PLC - agriculture products firm based in North Carolina - Says Brazil has approved the sale of PHC279 for the prevention and treatment of Asian soybean rust. Notes this is the first product from its PREtec technology platform approved for sale in Brazil, following the investment of USD20 million globally over the last eight years.
"We anticipate launching PHC279 for use in the 2021/22 soybean season and the company is advancing plans to secure distribution partners. Outside Brazil, we are preparing to launch this novel technology directly to markets in the US and other countries, initially targeting markets with an opportunity of USD5 billion," says Chief Executive Chris Richards.
