Ondine Biomedical Inc - Vancouver-based company specialising in photodisinfection-based therapies - Announces King's College Hospital in London will run a pilot of its Steriwave technology later this year. Ondine says the pilot is part of a quality improvement initiative focused on preventing hospital-acquired infections. Steriwave is a light-activated antimicrobial treatment that eliminates infection-causing pathogens in a single five-minute treatment. Steriwave was added to the NHS supply chain back in June.
