Oilex Ltd - Australian oil and gas exploration and production company - Names Colin Judd as new chief financial, effective Thursday. Mark Bolton, the current CFO, will continue as a non-executive director and company secretary.
In 1999, Judd joined Star Energy Ltd, a UK onshore operator of 25 oil and gas fields, as a founder member and CFO and was instrumental in the company's successful listing on AIM in 2004, Oilex says, various subsequent share placings and the company's ultimate sale to Petronas. Having worked closely with Colin for over 20 years, I'm confident in his ability to help elevate the company to the next level. "
Judd's hiring follows the appointment of Star Energy founder Roland Wessel as CEO a couple of weeks ago.
