Ocean Harvest Technology Group PLC - Theale, England-headquartered producer of seaweed-based animal feed ingredients - Appoints Ashley Head as executive chair with immediate effect. Chief Executive Mark Williams steps down from the board following his resignation, also effective immediately. Ocean Harvest says it will "look to strengthen the board and executive team in the coming weeks". Williams joined the firm in 2022, having previously been chief financial officer at Insect Technology Group.
Head has been chair of Ocean Harvest since November 2021, and is also chair of The AI Corp, MySense Group and Champagne Piaff.
"Mark has been instrumental in managing the business through our IPO and building out the supply chain to allow the business to scale," Executive Chair Head says. "He has also addressed key challenges and put a new sales team in place - on behalf of the entire board, we wish him the best for the future."
