Northern Venture Trust PLC - venture capital trust - On Wednesday reports net asset value per share of 79.8 pence as of March 31, up from 70.7p on September 30. Total return per share in six months ended March 31 11.6p. Pretax profit GBP18.5 million after a loss of GBP12.1 million in the same period the previous year. Declares interim dividend of 2.0p per share, plus a special dividend of 6.0p per share following successful divestments in the period, including partial exit of Entertainment Magpie Group.
