North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC - investor in smaller companies based in countries bordering the North Atlantic Ocean - Announces sale of Performance Chemicals for GBP11.6 million. The company was held in the unquoted portfolio and had a cost basis of around GBP230,000. The sale is at a modest uplift from the August dollar valuation, and the company says there will be a further uplift of around USD1.0 million if the earn out is achieved and escrows are released as expected.
