IN BRIEF: Norman Broadbent CEO resigns, chair steps up in meantime

Norman Broadbent PLC - London-based professional services firm - Says Chief Executive Mike Brennan has resigned after five years at the company. Executive Chair Peter Searle, will assume the daily running of the business until a replacement can be found.

Brennan says: "After five years in post, and as we come out of the pandemic and conditions begin to normalise, this seems a logical time to reflect on what the future holds for me."

Searle adds: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Mike for his valued contribution to the group over the past five years, with particular recognition to his role in leading the business throughout the pandemic."

Current stock price: 7.00 pence, down 6.7% on Monday morning

Year-to-date change: up 46%
