Nightcap PLC - London-based bar operator - Says bars have continued to trade well ahead of management's expectations since the relaxation of the UK government's Covid-19 restrictions on July 19. Enters a new lease for the London Cocktail Club in Corn Street, central Bristol. The site is expected to be open before the end of the calendar year and will have an unrestricted capacity of 310. Nightcap currently has a further five sites in legal negotiations across several of its brands.
Chief Executive Sarah Willingham says: "I am delighted to announce the first of several new sites for The London Cocktail Club. After the strong trading update announced in June and continued strong trading since the easing of Covid restrictions, the group is starting to deliver on its national roll-out strategy and continues to look to capitalise on the pent-up demand from consumers."
Current stock price: 22.38 pence, up 4.1% on Monday midday in London
