JD Sports Fashion PLC - Bury, Lancashire-based sports and outdoor clothing retailer - Non-Executive Chair Andrew Higginson purchases total of 298,942 shares at an average price of 132.66 pence each, worth GBP396,576, on Monday and Tuesday in London. The shares purchased represent his total interest in the company, or 0.01% of its issued share capital.
Higginson joined the firm in late July, following the departure of Peter Cowgill, the former executive chair and chief executive officer, in May.
Current stock price: 126.70p, down 5.1% on Tuesday in London
