Ncondezi Energy Ltd - African power development company - Says it is due to finish its Mozambique solar battery storage project by the end of June. Ncondezi is targeting project commissioning in June, with construction of solar panels now completed and Tesla battery packs and inverters now on site and installation underway. The project is targeting power generation of up to 600 megawatt-hour and has contracted revenue of USD3.1 million in total.
Ncondezi Chief Executive Hanno Pengilly says: "We are delighted to announce that progress at our maiden solar PV and battery storage project remains on track. The solar panels are now all up and installation of the battery packs and inverters is underway. We look forward to commissioning later this month as we move one step closer to our first cashflow."
