National Grid PLC - London-based electricity and gas utility operating in the UK and US - The UK Competition & Markets Authority revokes the initial enforcement order related to National Grid's acquisition of Western Power Distribution, based on the evidence the CMA has received in its assessment of the transaction. The order had been imposed on June 9 and restricted National Grid's ability to integrate WPD, a UK regional electricity distributor. The CMA's investigation into the acquisition is ongoing, however.
