Naked Wines PLC - Norwich-based winemaker - Delivers results for the year ended March 28 in line with expectations. Reports 3% increase in group sales compared to the year before. Says group sales increased 72% versus two years ago. Sees repeat customer sales grow 11%. Says sales retention was 80%, surpassing the mid 70s guidance. Attributes this to improvements to customer experience and its product range. Says year-end cash amounts to roughly GBP40 million.
In financial 2021, Naked Wines generated revenue of GBP340 million and a pretax loss GBP10.7 million.
"Overall I'm pleased that Naked delivered growth following our step change in scale in financial 2021, and we are well positioned to take advantage of our long-term growth opportunity in the US," Chief Financial Shawn Tabak says.
