Mosman Oil & Gas Ltd - helium, hydrogen, and hydrocarbon exploration company - Says it has been in discussions with an unnamed local helium business on its potential acquisition of the first well and associated contractual rights of Mosman's Billy Goat lease AMI area lease, at its Vecta project in Colorado, US. The Mosman board is "seriously considering" the offer, as it believes cooperation with the business "could be the fastest path to production and commercialisation for any helium discovered in the Billy Goat area". The first well was drilled to around 720 feet at total depth and casing set on May 16. Mosman will not release further information on the well until talks have been finalised.
"We are pleased that this potential opportunity has arisen. Mosman will only agree to a change that it considers more favourable to the company and shareholders. We look forward to providing further updates in due course," says Mosman Chief Executive Officer Andy Carroll.
