Mosman Oil & Gas Ltd - Australia and US-focused oil and gas explorer - Successfully tests Falcon-1 well at Champion project in East Texas, US.
Well was perforated in Frio sandstone at a depth of 7,613 to 7,618 feet, and flow tested as required. Oil and gas were produced at rates up to 80 barrels of oil per day and 2.78 million cubic feet per share, equating to a combined total of 543 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Next steps is to tie the well into a nearby separator and existing pipelines, which is expected to take a number of weeks.
