Mollyroe PLC - investment firm focused on AI business opportunities - Appoints Darren Matthew Hopkins as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Hopkins is a co-founder of Cascade Studio LLC, which is working to develop a software-as-a-service content creation platform for "AI-powered filmmaking and storytelling". Mollyroe says Hopkins' appointment deepens its relationship with Cascade, and aligns the ambitions of their shareholders. Says hiring Hopkins also provides Mollyroe shareholders with direct access to Cascade's development as the platform enters external testing ahead of its public launch. Notes that Cascade is considering a "plethora" of funding avenues, including private capital from the UK, US and UAE. Mollyroe reported on February 26 that it had invested GBP300,000 in Cascade through convertible loan notes.
Mollyroe states: "Darren is a dynamic and strategic qualified chartered accountant with significant corporate finance experience and a proven track record of successfully raising investment and leading exits in both public and private markets particularly with innovative, high-growth, technology-led businesses. He has a strong focus on growth, exceptional analytical abilities, outstanding communication skills and deep technical expertise. An adaptable and team-oriented leader, excelling at managing multiple operational roles during periods of business scaling, driving sustainable growth and delivering value."
