Metals Exploration PLC - natural resources firm with assets in Pacific Rim - Says operations have continued but at reduced levels at Runruno gold project, Philippines. Reports 14,908 ounces of gold sold in second quarter at USD1,722 an ounce, compared to 17,213 ounces at USD1,581 each in first quarter. Gold receipts in second quarter down quarter-on-quarter to USD25.7 million from USD27.2 million.
Current stock price: 0.73 pence but suspended since March after being unable to reach agreement on continuation of standstill arrangement with lenders.
Year-to-date change: down 40%
