MedPal AI PLC - London-based company that provides an app that aggregates health data from smartphones and wearable devices to provide AI-generated wellness support for users - Opens a distribution centre at Ecotech Business Park in Swaffham. This follows the acquisition by subsidiary Medpal Ltd of key assets from Universal Pharmacy Ltd earlier this month. The assets include a Distance Selling Pharmacy licence enabling nationwide distribution of medication and a warehouse unit at the business park. Further, using proceeds from its recent placing and retail offer, Medpal Ltd acquires advanced robotic dispensing equipment and leases two adjacent units at the park. Says the purchase triples the size of the original facility to create "a state-of-the-art, 24/7 automated medicines fulfilment hub, which will be integrated with AI to enable the delivery of over 100,000 prescriptions per month." Access to the pharmacy service will be advertised nationally and via the MedPal app.
