IN BRIEF: Magnum Ice Cream directors buy nearly EUR600,000 in shares

Magnum Ice Cream Co NV - Amsterdam-based ice cream company spun off from Unilever PLC and owner of Magnum, Ben & Jerry's and Cornetto brands - Chief Financial Officer Abhijit Bhattacharya buys 20,000 shares for average EUR13.41 each on Tuesday, for a total of EUR268,189. Gerardo Rozanski, president of the Americas region, buys 20,000 shares for EUR15.70 each, a total of EUR313,390 on Tuesday. This follows the earlier purchase of around EUR2.0 million in shares by Magnum directors this week and last week.

Current stock price: 1,183.00 pence, up 2.3% on Wednesday afternoon in London; up 2.3% at EUR13.54 in Amsterdam

12-month range: up 5.4% in London and 4.4% in Amsterdam since IPO in December
