M&G Credit Income Investment Trust PLC - debt investment firm - Net asset value per share at June 30, end of first half, down 4.4% to 97.23 pence from 101.72p at the end of December. "The first quarter of 2020 will be remembered for the human and economic costs of the Covid-19 pandemic. As the full force of the virus became apparent governments around the world put their populations and economies into lockdown. Equity and bond markets fell sharply, with the 10-year US Treasury and UK Gilt yields falling to new all-time lows," M&G Credit says. "Credit and equity markets recovered strongly during the second quarter, although not fully to pre-Covid-19 levels." Declares 1.62 pence in dividends, compared to 3.74p in the period from its November 2018 float to December 31, 2019.
