London Stock Exchange Group PLC - London-based stock exchange and financial information company - Agrees to acquire Global Data Consortium Inc, an identity verification provider based in North Carolina. Says acquisition will support clients with Know Your Customer verification requirements. Global Data Consortium's services are currently used within LSEG's Customer and Third-Party Risk businesses. The acquired company will be part of LSEG's Data & Analytics division. The transaction is expected to close in the first of 2022, subject to regulatory approvals. LSEG does not disclose the financial details of the acquisition.
