Kropz PLC - African phosphate explorer and developer - Water licence hearing date for Elandsfontein phosphate project in South Africa set after original delay. The water use licence hearing for the project near Cape Town was delayed in March due to Covid-19, with some parties having to go into self-quarantine. Now, Kropz noted, the tribunal has set aside three days from September 3 for the case.
"The company would like to advise the market that, in order to allow the tribunal the appropriate opportunity to fully review the matter, it will not be providing further comment on the official proceedings until the tribunal has announced its decision. The timing of the decision is currently unknown," Kropz said.
Pending the tribunal's decision, Kropz noted, there is no legal impediment to the continuation of the water use activities authorised in the water use licence.
