IN BRIEF: Kooth's annual loss narrows as revenue rises on uplifts

Kooth PLC - London-based digital mental health platform - For 2021, pretax loss narrows to GBP720,000 from GBP1.9 million the year before, driven by a 28% rise in revenue to GBP16.7 million from GBP13.0 million, through fee uplifts from existing public sector clients, and new business in the Adult and CYP units.

Looking ahead, 2022 has commenced in line with expectations, giving a current annual recurring revenue of GBP18 million.

"Following Kooth's entry to AIM in 2020, we have grown from strength to strength. In 2021, working in partnership with the NHS, over 200,000 people across the UK used Kooth. We have begun to grow in new corporate markets and have embarked on our strategy to establish Kooth in the US. We have achieved this because our mission of making effective, personalised digital mental health care accessible to all is more important now than it's ever been," says Chief Executive Officer Tim Barker.
