Kenmare Resources PLC - titanium minerals and zircon producer in Mozambique - Says production has continued at normal levels at its Moma titanium minerals mine in Mozambique despite rising coronavirus cases in the country. The company says, in addition to pre-existing physical distancing and hygiene protocols, it has initiated blanket testing of the workforce on the site every two weeks and is targeting a reduction of this interval. Kenmare notes that the larger number of cases is limiting availability of the workforce, including senior management, at the site. However, the business is being managed to mitigate the impact, it says.
