IN BRIEF: Kelly takes Emmerson chair as potash miner switches to AIM

27th Apr 2021 14:07

Emmerson PLC - Khemisset potash project in northern Morocco - Non-Executive Director James Kelly becomes new non-executive chair on Tuesday, as Emmerson shares start trading on AIM following their move from the London Main Market. Kelly replaces the retiring Mark Connelly. "Admission to AIM will provide the company with access to a market and environment which is more suited, in the board's view, to Emmerson's current size and strategy and will support the company during the rapid growth phase expected in the coming months and years, as we look to build Khemisset into a low cost, high margin supplier of potash to the African and European markets," says Chief Executive Officer Graham Clarke.

Current stock price: 5.80 pence, up 0.9% on Tuesday

Year-to-date change: up 9.4%
