IN BRIEF: Jet2 allows up to 49% of shares to be owned by non-Brits

Jet2 PLC - Leeds, England-based airline and package holiday operator - Increases permitted maximum percentage of shares that may be owned by non-UK nationals to 49% from 45%. The current number of non-UK shares as a percentage of its issued share capital is 39%, as at October 31. "The board, having consulted with its advisers, and having regard to the thresholds set by other industry participants, has decided that it is appropriate to increase the permitted maximum to 49%, a level which still ensures that the board can take appropriate action to maintain its current and future operating rights", Jet2 says.

Current stock price: 1,449.50 pence each, down 3.4% on Tuesday afternoon in London
