JD Sports Fashion PLC - Bury, Lancashire-based retailer - Executive Chair Peter Cowgill buys 50,000 shares at average 861.69 pence, worth GBP430,993, on Monday. Has 3.9 million shares in total, a 0.4% stake. Back in November of last year, Cowgill had sold 2.6 million shares at an average price of 745.62p, worth GBP19.3 million. At the start of this month, JD Sports said it will separate the role of executive chair and chief executive officer by July next year, Cowgill having filled both roles since 2014.
