IP Group PLC - London-based investor in intellectual property-based businesses - Says following funding round by a company which is one of its top 20 most valuable holdings, it books fair value gain of approximately GBP27.5 million, or 2.6 pence per share. "In addition, the group took the opportunity to realise a modest proportion of its holding, generating net proceeds of approximately GBP9.4 million. Further information on the funding round will be provided in due course," IP Group says.
