Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC - West Sussex-based medical technology company - Signs three-year renewal agreement with infusion devices manufacturer Micrel SA. Says the agreement is for the continued distribution of Micrel's products in the UK and Ireland, which are used for parenteral feeding, post-operative pain management, regional analgesia and chemotherapy, among others. Notes it recently won an order for 100 Micrel syringe drivers for use in chemotherapy from an unnamed "major" UK National Health Service Trust.
Adds it also has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Irish Centre for Maternal & Child Heath Research at University College Cork in Ireland. Says the agreement will involve working on research and innovation projects relating to sick and premature babies, helping with regulatory work and clinical user feedback.
