Impax Asset Management Group PLC - London-based investment manager focused on sustainable ventures - Says its Irish subsidiary, Impax Asset Management Ireland Ltd, has entered into an investment advisory agreement with BNP Paribas Asset Management Europe, an associate of substantial shareholder BNP Paribas, which holds approximately 14% of the company.
Under the deal, Impax Asset Management Ireland will advise on an investment fund and receive a quarterly fee based on assets under management. The agreement constitutes a related party transaction under AIM rules. Independent directors, advised by Peel Hunt, deemed the terms fair and "reasonable".
Current stock price: 136.98 pence, up 0.7% in London on Thursday
