IG Design Group PLC - Buckinghamshire-based consumer gift packaging and stationery - Promotes Chief Financial Officer Paul Bal to chief executive officer, starting on April 1 next year. Interim Executive Chair Stewart Gilliland will return to non-executive chair at that time. Bal joined IG Design back in March, joining the board in May. He had been CFO of Stock Spirits Group PLC, before the alcoholic brands distributor was bought by private equity firm CVC Funds in November of last year and de-listed from London. IG Design is looking for a new CFO. Lance Burn will remain as IG Design's interim chief operating officer through to October 2023 "to continue to lead the transformation of the USA business and assist group transition", the company says.
