IN BRIEF: Idox buys Scottish geospatial technology firm thinkWhere

Idox PLC - Reading, England-based supplier of specialist information management software - Acquires geospatial information services business thinkWhere Ltd based in Scotland. Notes that thinkWhere was previously equally owned by Falkirk and Stirling Councils. Says the "acquisition consideration and the initial impact on the group's earnings is not material".

Chief Executive David Meaden adds: "This exciting acquisition strengthens our GIS, mapping and data capabilities. Building on our recent acquisition of Aligned Assets, thinkWhere will create more opportunities to provide customers with smarter data and better integration to simplify and improve their operations."

Current stock price: 70.80 pence, up 0.3% on Monday afternoon

Year-to-date change: up 40%
