IN BRIEF: Henry Boot says HLM sells GBP25 million in plots to Barratt

Henry Boot PLC - Sheffield, England-based builder and property developer - Says land promotion business, Hallam Land Management, completes sale of 760 plots for GBP25 million to Barratt Developments PLC and Vistry Partnerships, of Vistry Group PLC.

Planning permission for 760 plots on the 125-acre site in Bridport, West Dorset was secured in 2019, as well as permission for 10 acres of employment land, and further mixed-used development including shops and a primary school. The site also has 54 acres of public open space, of which 15 acres will be newly planted woodland.

The sale was exchanged in 2021.

Nick Duckworth, HLM Managing Director, said: 'This significant deal with Barratt Developments and Vistry Partnerships will deliver much-needed new homes in Bridport. It further highlights our capabilities in masterdeveloping a site to deliver homes, employment space, community facilities and open spaces.'

Henry Boot current stock price: 283.28 pence, up 0.5% on Tuesday

12-month change: up 0.1%

Barratt Developments current stock price: 616.04 pence, up 0.7% on Tuesday

12-month change: down 7.1%

Vistry current stock price: 1,042.50 pence, up 2.0% on Tuesday

12-month change: up 22%
