IN BRIEF: Henry Boot gets planning permission for Yorkshire warehouse

Henry Boot PLC - Sheffield, England-based construction and property development - Receives planning permission for new two million square foot distribution warehouse at Wakefield Hub, a 200-acre industrial and logistics scheme in Yorkshire. Notes the joint application was made by Newmarket Lane Ltd, a joint venture between Henry Boot's property development business Henry Boot Developments, Yorkcourt Paragon Ltd, and Mountpark. Says works will start on site in May, which will include a new spine road through the scheme and extensive landscaping.

"We are very pleased that the planning committee has approved the application for this latest development at Wakefield Hub - it's brilliant news for Wakefield and is a huge vote of confidence in the city as a place to invest," says Henry Boot Developments Managing Director Ed Hutchinson.
