Harworth Group PLC - Rotherham, South Yorkshire-based land and property regeneration - Acquires Towngate Business Park, a multi-let industrial estate in Cheshire from Towngate PLC for GBP12.7 million.
The park is a former Golden Wonder food factory, and comprises 262,000 square feet of industrial space. It is fully let and generates rental income of GBP958,000 per annum.
Acquisition was funded by proceeds from Harworth's active churn strategy, including the recycling of capital through the sale of non-core assets.
